Every establishment employing 10 or more employees must apply for Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) Registration within fifteen days from the date of applicability.
“ESIC” provides medical treatment facilities to insured employees and their families. It also protects employees against illness, disablement, injury, harm, or death arising out of employment.
Employees are also compensated for loss of wages during leave periods due to sickness or employment-related issues.
If the gross salary of an employee (Basic + DA + HRA) is less than or equal to ₹15,000 per month, ESI contribution is deducted at prescribed rates and deposited with the Corporation.
Once all documents and information are received, the registration application is prepared and filed with the department.
Eligibility: Every establishment employing ten or more persons is required to obtain ESI Registration under the ESIC Act.
